~by being unselfish, it will develop your character

~simply need to DECIDE to live for Christ

~4 directions of servanthood
1) servanthood is about serving god

#Jesus pain the price for our freedom, so serve God!
#God gave us the choice whether we want to serve
#Abraham Lincoln bought a slave and gave the slave freedom to do whatever she want to do. the slave answered that since she can go to wherever she want, she would choose to stay by him to be his slave forever.
#must have the same attitude: Jesus died on the cross for us, we must serve Him!
2) servanthood is about serving leaders
#Phillipians 12:22
#flow with the leaders placed above you
3) servanthood is about serving each other
#Gal 5:13
#Jesus is an example to us
#no BUTs, but YESs...in serving
#serving others->greater relationships->succes
4) servanthood is about serving all
#1 Corinthians 9:19
#fellowship with all kinds of people: Jesus fellowshipped with the tax collectors
#visible love opens up invisible heart!
~servanthood enables you to find meaningfulness in your life
~violin made of good wood is in good condition when used. but when the violinist decided not to use it anymore, it will decay!!!
~life without service rendered to others will decay->lose visions, dreams, destiny
~Romans 1:1, James 1:1, Peter 1:1, Jude 1:1 => "servants of Jesus Christ"
~a servant is not the same as a volunteer. a servant ALWAYS chooses to serve, do it out of commitment. a volunteer picks and chooses, ONLY serves when convenient

~serving will not make ourselves a servant, but it will make you become a servant
