sometimes, the busyness of life ties us down. instead of getting liberated by having more money or higher grades, we get tied down by our greed and our pride. despite having more money to pay the bills, etc, we become more driven to earn even more money. despite getting grades that are excellent enough, we get more driven to achieve perfect scores. and in the process, we neglected other things: friends, family and mostly, God.
actually, in the end, what is the most important things are those things that we have neglected. so, we must make the effort not to let those things slip away from us.
we are created to glorify God. indeed, we can glorify God by earning a lot of money or being a model student. but the most important thing is, do we really return the glory to God or do we take pride the achievement?
